First of all, let’s talk about what a PU squeegee is. It is a rubber blade that is gripped by a handle, often made of wood or plastic. However, the material of the handle is not of much importance, as the functionality depends on the blade as such.

But what is it for? Well, with the polyurethane squeegee you can remove water from any flat, smooth surface. Usually, it is done after washing such surfaces, since it is necessary to remove the remaining liquid.

However, it is not only used to remove water, but all kinds of liquids. And therein lies the main advantage of polyurethane: it is highly resistant to abrasion, chemicals, time of use and weather.

PU squeegees are several steps above other drainers. To better understand why, though, it is best to review their fundamental characteristics:

●Its resistance to weathering is unmatched by other materials. It usually happens with some plastics, that if they are not used for a long time, they get damaged. This does not happen with polyurethane squeegees.
●This type of squeegee can clean any type of liquid without leaving anything behind. Of course, it is necessary to work on a smooth surface to have the expected effect.

Applications of polyurethane squeegees

PU squeegees work to remove all types of liquids from any smooth surface. However, they are more commonly used for certain cleaning tasks. For example, they are widely used for cleaning glass, both in buildings and automobiles.
They are also used to clean tiles, mirrors, cement and polished wood. In addition, and due to the high resistance of polyurethane, they are also used to clean laboratories.
